About Us

Built Around The Cashew Farmer

Unity Impex Buying works from its head office at Kyekyewere, Seikwa in the Tain District, with branch offices at Namasua (Berekum East) and Adom (Berekum West). We buy raw cashew nuts from farmers and aggregators and supply them in bulk to exporters.

Our farmers are organised in the Unity Impex Co-operative Cashew Farming and Marketing Society Limited (Reg. No: BER/P/AC/520), a registered co-operative under the Republic of Ghana. The society is governed by an elected Board of Directors that oversees cashew farming operations across the District. Inputs, machinery and equipment from NGOs, government and donors are shared fairly among smallholder farmers by appointed Executive Officers, and members pay dues into a welfare fund that supports farmers during hardship, crop failure, emergencies, funerals and weddings.

Before we operate in any District or Municipal Assembly, our CEO submits a formal proposal with the required business certificates. Once the local authority approves it, we are authorised to buy cashew and work with farmers in the surrounding communities.
